An Early Day Motion (EDM) supporting the End Water Poverty campaign has been tabled to mark World Water Day 22 March and the launch of the End Water Poverty campaign. EDMs are a way of getting British MPs to formally record their support for an issue; in this case a Global Action Plan for sanitation and water. We need as many MPs as possible to sign the motion to increase the likelihood that the issue will be discussed within the UK parliament.
The EDM was put forward by British MPs who agree that we must act now to end the global water and sanitation crisis.
Contact your MP and ask them to sign EDM 1113, if they haven't already. We share a responsibility to help the billions of people who struggle through life without safe water and basic sanitation.
